Complete Canine Training

We brought our dog in at 7months for the puppy board and train. He is a huge dog and we wanted to make sure we had some basic obedience training that would keep him safe and we can enjoy having him along on family trips and outings. This so far has been an amazing experience.

I wanted to hold off on writing a review until we had our dogs back for a bit, but the change in them simply cannot be denied. Both of our dogs, Duke and Kona, had MAJOR reactivity on the leash and in our backyard. We tried everything from trainers coming to our home, to listening to podcasts, to putting up privacy fencing in the backyard, but nothing was working. My husband and I found Complete Canine Training and were extremely impressed with their reviews. We did the two week board and train program for both dogs and could not be more thrilled with the results! Chris was absolutely incredible during our take-home class and did not make us feel rushed in the slightest. Both dogs left with such an incredible foundation and putting in the time at home to continue the training has been extremely rewarding for us. We have witnessed both dogs walk past other dogs on the leash without entering what Chris called the, “red zone”, and have seen them respond to commands throughout their walks. Our relatives and friends can’t believe the difference in Duke and Kona. Another unique aspect of the board and train program is the option to attend group classes for life. We do not feel like we are completely on our own now that we have picked them up from training. Complete Canine Training has made it very clear they want to continue to see us at group classes and want to continue to help Duke and Kona. The money we put into their training was well worth it and we both wish we would have done it sooner. Trainers in the past made us feel embarrassed by our dogs’ behavior and breed type, but Complete Canine Training never made us feel judged nor embarrassed. They gave us so much more than we could have ever asked for and we will be forever grateful!

We rescued an eight month old Doberman and had never had experience training a large and VERY strong dog before. Chris and his team helped us train Otis, and also taught us (the humans) how to control Otis so that we were in charge of him (rather than the other way around!). Chris and the team were amazing! They lived to up to every bit of their phenomenal reputation. Nova was there for 2 weeks and learned so much, we got updates and honest explanations of what she was working on and struggling with. When we went to pick her up, it was obvious she was comfortable with Chris and his trainers which we really liked to see.

We sent our 2 year old dog here as we were struggling with some of his anxiety and unpredictable behavior when he was around new people or in public. It has been 3-4 weeks since we have picked him up and he has really turned a corner. He’s more confident, well behaved and has a new foundation of living/being. He is having a better time and so are we! Can’t thank the team at complete canine enough for making a huge difference on our dog - 10/10.

All of my questions were answered quickly and my dog was well cared for. Our 6-month-old pup came home a whole new dog, well behaved and with a better learning foundation. Highly recommend!

They did a great job teaching my rescue Border collie, Oreo. She was a puller when trying to walk. After training she is a different dog when out walking. She no longer lunges at squirrels or rabbits along the trail. She's so easy to take on long walks now. I highly recommend Complete Canine Training to anyone looking to have your "baby" learn the basics. All the staff were professional in all aspects!!

We enrolled Leo, our GSD, into the board and train program. The results have been amazing! We couldn't be happier with everything the whole team has done to help us live life to its fullest with our boy. We're now able to walk Leo around other people and dogs confidently. They provided us with simple commands and taught us everything we need to know. It has been a wonderful experience! Complete Canine Training was able to train our aggressive 4yr old. She still has all her personality and positive traits, but with a strong added layer of obedience that is not complicated to manage. Her new command vocabulary is short, simple, and highly effective. We are finally able to walk her! That brought tears to our eyes - it’s been that difficult! I wanted to wait a little while longer before posting this to really see the results of our puppy Charlie's 3 week board and train program that he just completed but the results are apparent just a few days after bringing him home. Like a lot of people we got our little guy during covid quarantine and quickly realized that we were not as well equipped as we thought we would be to train a puppy. We both have had family dogs but this was our first dog of our own. Charlie was not a bad puppy by any means but he definitely had his rough patches. After three weeks of training he came home a new dog. Walks on leash like a pro, which is a life saver when trying to get some of that energy to go down. Lost most of his seperation anxiety, listens to commands, and overall is a million times more obedient. If you are willing to put in the extra work when you bring your dog home, Complete Canine will give you all the tools and training needed too ensure the good habits do not dissipate. They not only trained our puppy but also trained us on how to keep up the good behavior. Could not speak higher of the team at Complete Canine and would recommend the puppy board and train to any dog owner.
