Description: Handy-n- Clean is a smaller company that is capable of providing the quality and service of the bigger company, without the big guy’s budget getting passed on to you! The priorities and goals of my locally-owned & operated company are to provide knowledgeable, capable, and outstanding customer service; as well as to deliver top quality service that fulfills the goals and expectations of every customer’s makeover project needs.
I was finishing my basement myself, and we were running up against a tight deadline to complete the project before we had company coming for the weekend. It was a Tuesday evening at 11 PM and I realized I wasn’t going to get everything done by the weekend when people were going to be here. I looked up handymen locally on craigslist and found Terry on there. I texted him that evening and he was still awake and called. I talked to him about helping finish some things out (hang two doors and two windows) and needed his help the next day. He said “absolutely” and headed to our house the next day. While there, I kept adding scope and items to his project list: baseboard, barn door, driving to get supplies and materials that I had ordered, etc. and he kept on saying “no problem” to all the added scope. By having Terry here, we were able to finish the basement project before our company arrived for the weekend. He was affordable, timely, professional, and always open to add more work and lend a hand.
He worked very fast and did a good job of cleaning up when he was done. When he finished the project, he asked us to check it over and see if there was anything more we wanted done and willingly fixed what we wanted him to.
Terry is great! He has a lot of experience, especially with carpentry and painting. He is extremely responsive to emails/calls/texts and keeps his appointments. He listens to your requests and ideas and offers his own. He won't leave until the job is finished and his rates are very reasonable. We've used Terry on a few different projects now ranging from carpentry to appliance installs and other handyman "stuff" and he's done a great job every time. I highly recommend him. He's very reliable.
