Knitty Kitty was developed by knit designer, Lisa Roberts, who has been knitting for over thirty years. From the northern California coast, designs are influenced by nature and an active outdoor lifestyle. Knitimates evolved one summer when Lisa was knitting herself a bikini to wear at the river. Upon finishing her project she loved how it looked and felt so much that she wore it to bed. To her delight, her husband also loved it. She realized she made something they both could enjoy and thought there must be other women who would be just as excited to wear something not only sexy but comfortable.
