By far the worst company I have ever rented with. Their customer service is horrific! They always treated me in a demeaning manner and made me feel less than, no matter how kind I was to them. They are in the business to charge outrageous fees for anything they can and will not work with the tenant. I was so displeased with how they treated my that I was willing to break my lease early. The property was not clean when I moved in, paint chipped walls and a few broken items, I fixed on my own. When I moved out I left the property in better condition than when I moved in and they still took 2/3rds of my deposit. Shouldn't have surprised me as they had proven to be fraudulent, rude and so why not add deposit skimming to the list. They are SO difficult to deal with that it is not worth the fight to try and get my money back. BEWARE and be sure to take pictures of EVERYTHING when you move in. Terrible company.
Really loved working with the company- they were super pleasant even through some confusion around my check out (out of their control, completely) loved every person I worked with over the course of the year!
I've been a long-term tenant with Mountain N Plains and they have always been extremely attentive and helpful whenever I have had questions or needed repairs done. I wasn't sure if I was moving for a job out of state (was still interviewing) and they gave me two months extra time before signing any lease renewal or intent to vacate paperwork. I've been very happy with my overall experience with them.
Mountain-n-Plains has been really professional and responsive with any issues at our rental house. Heads and shoulders above any other similar firm I have ever dealt with. My basis for this is that I used to have a job where I moved about every 6-9 months. And I did that job for 15 years. Consequently I've rented a lot of places. So I have dealt with many landlords and many rental agencies. And Mountain-n-Plains does stand above all the other rental agencies I have dealt with.
