I have a great experience with all the process of purchase my new saddle. The saddle fit perfectly to my Missouri foxtrotted mare that was not happy with her previous gaited saddle that was just to wide and not matching anymore her shoulder. The fit is perfect, wet pattern is perfect, no more bad eye or pinning ears when cinching. Just an happier horse and owner. Merci beaucoup. Love my new saddle. Marie-France from Quebec, Canada

I love my saddle! Stacie was very patient with trying different trees for my hard to fit gelding making sure the tree did not bridge. I then tried different saddles so we made sure my ride was comfortable. We talked about the twisted Stirrup Leathers so my knees would not hurt. We discussed having part of it rough-out because my gelding can be very hard to ride when his energy is up. She was very patient. I would DEFINITELY buy another saddle from Allegany Saddles! Absolutely!

I have ordered 2 saddles from Stacy and she and Melinda have been great to work with. They send the forms, I take the photos and upload, they get back to me right away. Each saddle fits the horse perfectly and are really comfortable. I got the Cascade Wade for each with the slick seat and it's much more comfortable than my old padded seat saddles. The leather work is really nice as well. I also got the large saddlebags which are nice and roomy. The saddles are fairly light considering they are not endurance saddles and I can saddle my 15.1 horse with minimal trouble and I'm 64. I have another saddle with them coming up in the next 6 months. The price was better than an off the shelf Tucker saddle and way more comfortable. I highly recommend!

I have a very hard to fit horse with a big shoulder and short back. The ladies of AMTS did a fabulous job of making her comfortable! They stayed patient with me and all my questions. I absolutely love my saddle! It is gorgeous and fantastic quality! I couldn't have imagined it better. The saddle fitting process with Staci was enlightening. I felt that she truly cared about finding the perfect fit for my mare and I. I am 100% pleased with AMTS!

Last summer I ordered an Allegany saddle. I am 70 years old and needed a trail saddle that was light as well as safe. They worked with me and I ended up with a lovely trail saddle and i no longer have to ask others to lift my saddle on my horse. The saddle is comfortable and I feel safe in it. For someone my age it is very special to end up with a quality saddle and also a saddle I can lift myself.

I've purchased two AMTS saddles, and I'm thrilled with the quality and fit! I'll never purchase from a different saddlemaker. Staci is a joy to work with. She's extremely knowledgeable about the entire process of saddle-making, especially semi-custom saddles, and was able to answer every one of my questions, explain every detail to the nth degree, and alleviate every one of my concerns. Not only did she help me over the phone for seemingly hours at a time, she also invited me to bring my hard-to-fit, short-backed TWH to her shop so she could check every detail of the fit. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make the trip, but just knowing she was able and willing to go above and beyond her normal duties makes her the epitome of saddlemaking and customer service. Allegany Mountain Trail Saddles has a loyal customer for life!

I ordered my custom saddle from Allegany Saddles this year 2017. Having never purchased let alone ordered one for my horse I had just purchased, this was going to be daunting. Well, what transpired was anything but, the process was simple. My horse as no withers to speak of and having a run of the mill saddle with her very short back was not an option. The saddle that I received was absolutely beautiful, the craftmanship is amazing and it fit my horse very well. I have been on three rides with it and love it.
