AllState Paving And Masonry

ALLState Paving and masonry is the absolute worst contractor I’ve ever dealt with. About the only thing they excel at is there sales pitch!! For example; we will not ask for any payment until you are completely satisfied with the completed work. BUT ON THE VERY FIRT DAY THEY STATED WORK I WAS ASKED FOR $2000. “To pay delivery drivers”!!!! The following week I was pressed for an additional $2,500. When I told the owner Tom ConnersThat I would not pay because the work was not completed he would not leave (by the way, this was at the end of the work day and he was already very drunk) so he persisted badgering me for payment for another two hours. By this time his son and partner had left the area. He continued to get drunker but now had no ride. So to get rid of him I called an Uber. The Uber driver took him but returned about ten minutes later and told me that he could not take Tom because he was so drunk that he couldn’t tell the driver where he was going!!!! So now I’m disgusted and just wanted to get rid of him so I called a cab. Tom made a call and was finally able to tell the cab driver where he was going. But when the driver saw the drunken state of his passenger he demanded payment in advance. Tom didn’t have any money so I paid the driver the full fare out of my own pocket. I did this just to get rid of him. The job they were hired for was to build a retaining wall and restore my yard From water damage with new grass and landscaping. The resting wall failed after the first rainfall and my yard got flooded. No attempt was made to repair the wall. There was not even an attempt to fix the yard other than cover it with a thin layer of dirt which was immediately washed away by the failure of the retaining wall. I’m not the only person scammed by ALLState Paving. Please go to YELP and check other reviews - including mine. Pay particular attention to the picture posted by Myself and several other disgusted customers. My only word of advice is to stay far, far away from this incompetent “Family Run Business.” That boasts many years of expertise passed from father to son over several generations. Also be aware that they constantly change addresses so do not be fooled because it’s a “catch me if you can” operation. When I notified the local police of this matter I was informed by a police officer that this sort of thing happens all the time. A “business” will move into a town, run their scam until too many complaints draw attention. Then they simply disappear only to pop up in some other city or region. BEWARE - do not under any circumstances deal with ALLState Paving and Masonry. But be especially careful not to believe the sales pitch. To repeat, the sales pitch is about the only thing they are good.at. One final point; DO NOT be fooled by the beautiful web site posted by this company. They hire a professional web developer to design these posts -AND there appears to be no law against taking pictures of landscaping done by others and presenting or at least implying that it was done by them!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Awesome work by this group! Michael from their company showed up on time! And either answered his phone or got back to me promptly which is a rare thing for contractors in Boston. They went over and above to set up my driveway and patio and irrigation perfectly. Best of all... the final price was below their initial proposal! 5 Stars!
