It all started in the basement of a retired attorney who wanted to finally put his 1964 degree in chemistry to work. Alonzo knew that various oils could be combined in such a was as to make a single solution, but it took 2 years to finally get the mixture exactly the way he wanted it. The unique blend of seed and nut oils makes shaving a pleasure.

I have shaved for many years now, so I wouldn’t consider myself to be a novice by any stretch of the imagination. With that being said, I have tried many a conventional shaving cream and my fair share of shaving soaps on the market. However, I just recently began dabbling with shaving oils particularly Alonzo’s which I decided to give a try and I must admit that because of using this preshave oil, I have gotten the best nick and cut free with no irritation whatsoever shave that I have ever given myself In my many years of shaving in addition to the fact that it has a pleasant not overwhelming fragrance that moisturizes your face as you shave. In a nutshell, thanks to Alonzo's oil, I truly enjoy the task of shaving once more. Needless to say, it will part of my shaving repertoire for as long as I could help it. Thank you Alonzo! Great product!!!

I was pleased to do business with Alonzo's Oil. Their Beard Oil/Shave Oil is a good product. I wanted to wait until I'd used it a number of times, to give a fair evaluation. I usually shave in the shower, so my face is always washed and steamy. Whether I use Alonzo's alone, or as a pre-shave under lather, I get a close smooth shave, both with a typical multi-blade or with a shavette straight razor. My only suggestion would be that Alonzo's come clean with customers, and publicize that the Beard Oil is the *same* stuff as the Shave Oil, just with two different labels. People might be surprised, even skeptical, that one can use an oil for shaving, but if they just try it, they'll see. Don't hide it; brag on it. Any regular shaver should at least get the small 2 oz. bottle and see for themselves.

Delivery of the product was swift. In only a couple days, I was using Alonzo's Oil to shave mm face and head. I never thought that using oil for shaving would work as well as it does. I am so happy that I "found" this great shaving product. Thanks, Alonzo.
