Dr. Scarff was very knowledgeable on the subject of hearing loss. She used language that was easily understood by the group. Her description of the science behind hearing loss, together with the impact it may have on an individual's life was very enlightening. I personally have a lot of issues hearing when I am in a room with poor acoustics, with large groups, etc. Dr. Scarff's presentation convinced me that it's time to have my hearing evaluated. Thank you for an excellent presentation!!

After attending one of Dr. Scarff's most informative educational sessions, I knew that making an appointment at Audiology Innovations was where I wanted and needed to go to address my hearing loss ...a deficit I was trying to ignore for some time. Dr. Scarff's obvious level of competency and all round professionalism combined with her genuine empathy and ease to talk to, confirmed my decision. She not only heard me, she listened to my concerns! I needed several adjustments plus I lost my aids within 6 months (totally upsetting) but she and her staff, Eleese and Rebecca, looked after me immediately. This team never seemed rushed. They took their time and patiently explained all the intricacies of my new hearing gear to me. I believe that hearing is a most important sense and going to one of the best in Calgary is just good common sense. Thank you team...the chirping birds sounded great this morning...:)

Audiology Innovations provides very high quality, professional service. Dr. Scarff put me through a very thorough hearing exam and then spent a significant amount of time discussing the results of my audiogram and answering all my questions. Her high level of expertise and ability to communicate complex hearing issues in easy to understand terms, was extremely helpful to me and very much appreciated. She also clearly explained the different types of hearing aids that are presently available in the market place along with the costs and the advantages/disadvantages associated with each device. On top of the verbal explanations provided, Dr. Scarff also emailed me a detailed summary of the results of my audiogram as well as her follow up explanations and our discussions. I found the emailed summary to be extremely useful as it allowed me to refresh my memory of all the info that Dr. Scarff provided me during my hearing exam with her, prior to me having to make any decision in regards to the type of hearing aid that would work best for me. The follow up/support service provided by Eleese has also been excellent and I am now totally comfortable with my new hearing aid. Thank you Eleese and Dr. Scarff for the great service provided.

Excellent Educator and Presenter. I have seen Dr Scarff present a few times over the last few years and each time I am always pleased. I find her to be very responsive to the audience and quite engaging. She also does an excellent job making the topic of hearing and hearing loss useful to her audience. Although the topic of hearing loss is serious she is always able to keep it light and engaging, plus she makes it easy to understand. Her sessions are always very well attended and many people usually stay behind to ask more questions and seek her guidance.

I had a great experience with Elan Feldman at Audiology Innovations. I was able to make an appointment and get in to see him on a very timely basis. My original plan was to get some sleep ear plugs made, but during the course of our meeting Elan and I were also able to discuss my hearing issues and we set up a date to have my hearing tested. Once it was determined that I was experiencing some high end hearing loss, Elan provided me with some hearing aids to take home on a free trial basis. We actually tried two different types of hearing aids and I had plenty of time to see if they were for me. In the end they were not, but it was great to have the chance to test drive the hearing aids first. My ear plugs for sleeping were made from an injection mold and custom fitted to my ears. The first set I had made caused a bit of pain when I slept so Elan made some changes to the plugs. When that didn't work out, Elan made a new mold for me and asked the manufacturers to make some adjustments to the final product. In the end, the second set of plugs were a perfect fit. I was very happy with my experience with Elan and Audiology Innovations. Elan took the time to figure out my needs and address them in a manner that left me a satisfied customer. I strongly recommend that you give Audiology Innovations a try for all your hearing needs.
