Description: I began my insurance career in 1993 and am now the President and CEO of Benefits Navigation LLC. My focus is and has always been to help employers and consumers navigate through and find the right solutions for their personal insurance needs. Educating clients and having access to the major insurance carriers? products and pricing is key for me to bring the best insurance solution to you.
I started my insurance career in 1993 with Prudential HealthCare in Charlotte, North Carolina. While working full time as an insurance agent, I went back to school at night and completed my Masters of Business Administration. My work then broadened to the consulting firm side of insurance, where I worked for two different reputable brokerage firms, representing all insurance carriers? employee benefit product offerings. My last employer was Aetna, where I worked in the Voluntary benefit department for seven years and in various roles.
My broad background has been compromised of work in the following skilled areas of insurance:
customer service,
account management for small and national sized employer groups,
inside and outside sales,
exchange platform leadership role,
manager of sales support team with responsibilities for leading process enhancements and
completing proposals for national clients and consulting firms.
Having been born in the seaside city of Charleston and returning to attend the College of Charleston, where I graduated in 1992, I have always found solace near the sea. That is where the concept of ?Benefits Navigation? was found. I now live in Cumming, Georgia, outside of Atlanta, with my husband, two sons and dog, Biscuit.
