Black Powder Roasting Co. is family owned and operated out of Mooresville, NC. We determined that there was a real need for great tasting, responsibly harvested coffee within our neighborhood. We began roasting small batch coffee and selling it to give customers the best tasting coffee available. The owners are active in their community, and provide craft roasted coffee beans to locals and beyond. Aside from providing wonderful coffee and tea, Black Powder Roasting Company is self-certified as a Woman Owned Small Business.
We love fresh roasted Ethiopian coffee and Black Powder is a true craft coffee roaster. We have been buying from them thru their app for quite a while and it's always high quality. If you have a question or need a recommendation, they are very quick to respond. 5 stars!
The old saying "You get what you pay for" is very true. I had gotten so used to the hit and miss quality of coffee you can purchase at the grocery store (this includes well known national brands), I thought that was the status quo. After going through several bags of Black Powder coffee, I realize they are not the status quo. I have yet to have a bad cup. Thanks for taking the time to roast great coffee.
