“Because we bill insurance for every patient, we are a preferred provider. We have all of the credentials to take care of everyone. Pain is the number one thing we treat here. We also treat digestive disorders and fertility issues. We listen to what is going on with the patient and provide things for people that not all places do. We strive to keep all standards high.”
Deborah went on to tell us that Awakening Balance Acupuncture has been in business since 2010, and their team consists of three front desk staff members and four Acupuncturists.

“Right now, we are in the process of becoming a 501c3, and we feel that is the right direction for us to be moving in. There are a lot of people in need of health care, and as a preferred provider we cannot give discounts; we have to treat everyone the same. We are looking to be sliding scale and possibly open a second location so we can help people with lower-income, people with mental illness or homeless people. We are doing everything we can to make a big impact in our community.”
Deborah went on to say:
“By 2020, we are looking to be a non-profit. We are moving into the behavioral health field. We have to raise awareness and help our brothers and sisters out. When the body is less inflamed, the mental capacity is enhanced.”
