We were excited to learn all about Louisville Community Acupuncture and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with Mike, who owns the company alongside his wife.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Louisville Community Acupuncture stand apart from its competitors. Mike told us about their overall business mission, which he described as:
“Our mission is to make acupuncture affordable and accessible for the greater community.”
To make this goal possible, they treat in a community setting and offer a sliding scale for payment.
Mike told us a bit more:
“We base our model off of a model that started up in Portland called The Peoples’ Organization of Affordable Acupuncture. Now we are a member-based co-op. We provide a lot of resources [to people].”
