We took a few minutes to talk with Reba Eagles, the founder and CEO of Original Medicine Wellness Center, to learn a little more about the business and how they managed to build such an impressive online reputation.

“The purpose of our clinic is to make disease and chronic pain optional for as many people as possible. The goal for everyone is to live on as few drugs as possible and eliminate the need for any unnecessary surgery, and we want everyone that comes through our doors to live as far away from the emergency room as possible. People have been taught to expect sickness and symptoms. We believe that is a myth and that what we should expect is health. We transform people’s lives and help them have the life they want, rather than the life they have had to learn to live with because of their symptoms.”
Reba went on to add:

We have used newspaper, radio, TV and social media advertising to do this.”
Clearly, Reba has a lot of wisdom when it comes to building an online reputation and growing a business. Here’s her expert advice for the many business owners out there working to do the same thing:
“Do good work. Don’t cheat your customers. Underpromise and over-deliver. Customer service, really good customer service, has been lost behind too many screens. Get your people in direct communication with your customers, and make sure that each person knows that the employee is really listening and really cares about them. Give that employee some autonomy. Let them know they can make decisions and that you will back them up. You might ask them to do it differently the next time, but help them feel strong enough to help people. People will work much more for a feeling of autonomy than they will for more money. But pay them well. How did you get to be a successful business except for the people that went on the journey with you?”\
