Not Your Average Acupuncture Clinic
We were excited to learn all about Thrive Health and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Clare O’Nan.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Thrive Health stand apart from its competitors. Clare told us that she started Thrive Health six years ago. They practice acupuncture and Chinese medicine. They sell hemp oil and offer education around that, as well as life and nutritional coaching. Clare said:
“My patients tell me that I am much more attentive to them than what they are used to and that our relationship is very important to them. They feel accepted and welcome here, and the results they get are great! I even have clients that will drive from as far away as Louisiana, which speaks to the quality of service I’m providing them.”
We also wanted to know more about the Thrive Health business mission. Clare told us:
“Our mission is to bring people home to who they are so they can heal. That is what acupuncture does; it makes you home in your body and yourself. You can’t heal if you are not feeling comfortable in who you are.”
Building Success, Online and Off
Thrive Health has earned a wonderful reputation over the years, so we were excited to hear about some of the ways they have gotten their name out. We learned that Clare hosts many educational talks and will let their clients know about them through their social media. They have also seen the benefit of online reviews. When we asked Clare what their secret is to getting those reviews, she said:
“We are completely present for every person who walks through our door. People also like the way that we educate our patients. We really don’t ask clients for reviews, so our reviews are from clients who had a great experience and want to share that experience.”

“Treat your clients like you would treat yourself. You need to have 100-percent integrity in your work. Another huge thing is to take care of yourself. When you are not taking care of yourself, your business can suffer.”
