We were excited to learn all about District Line Auto Service and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Service Manager, Ray Gombo.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes District Line Auto Service stand apart from its competitors. We learned about their honest service and the pride they take in doing a good job. Ray said:
“We’re like a little corner mechanic shop, your neighborhood mechanic, we’re pretty local. We try to be available to you and do the service fast. We just try to be there for you.”
Building Success, Online And Off
District Line Auto Service has earned a fantastic reputation, so we asked Ray how they have managed to grow their business and get their name out. He said:
“We try to make it simple. We don’t try to advertise. We aren’t trying to get more customers. One of our main strengths is that we’ve been here for a long time, so a lot of our customers know us. A lot of new people move in and look around to see who is nearby… Word of mouth is the primary way we get more customers.”
There are many businesses out there that are looking to build as impressive a reputation as District Line Auto Service has managed to. We asked if Ray could share any expert advice with these companies. Here’s what he had to say:
“In order to have good online reviews, you have to do a good job, do what the customer wants, and have good communication. If the customer is not happy with something, talk with them, and understand why they’re not happy and try to resolve their problem.”
