Not Your Average Auto Shop
We were excited to learn all about GWC Auto Repair and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Gavin.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes GWC Auto Repair stand apart from its competitors. He told us that he caters to the general public. He does a good job, and he does it right. Gavin said that he believes in giving a fare-shake to people, so he offers great service at an affordable price. GWC Auto Repair is trustworthy to the point that Gavin doesn’t even need to offer his clients an estimate because
they believe and trust that he will not do anything that isn’t absolutely necessary. He said:
“You don’t really see a full-service garage like mine that isn’t a chain anymore.”
Gavin told us that, while he got his start working with European cars, he is now incredibly well-versed at working with all kinds of cars, European, and American, too. He said:
“I can work on everything from a Fiat to a Volkswagon. I am the VW Bus King. I get a lot of camper vans here.”

“Spend one on one time with the person. They want to interact with the mechanic. I try to explain to my customers what we had to do and why we had to do it. You give them options about where their car is headed. People wan’t to be able to prepare for the future. I take people out to the garage and show them the issue if I can. A lot of people don’t usually know what the issues are. I give people options.”
