We wanted to learn all about Reliant Auto Repair and its impressive online reputation, so we took a few minutes to talk with the owner Mike Gayhardt.
The first question we had for Mike was what is it that sets Reliant Auto Repair apart from their competition in New Hampshire. Here’s Mike’s response:
“[With us,] clients are getting 43 years of experience, not some kid that just came out of school. That’s who most people seem to hire now, because in general, anyone who knows what they’re doing, doesn’t want to be in this business anymore. I use quality parts. I don’t use cheap parts just to get the job. I won’t do the job if I have to sacrifice quality for quantity. My name goes on every job, so I want to make sure it’s right. If there is a problem, we stand behind it 100 percent… If a part fails, we’re going to fix it. If it’s something we may have missed or screwed up, we’re going to fix it and not charge you. What makes us different is quality work, many years of experience and the fact that we back our product 100 percent.”
We also wanted to know what their mission is at Reliant Auto Repair and how they work to make the world a better place. Here’s what Mike had to say:
“We make it as easy as possible for people who are either stranded or need to have their car fixed but really don’t have the time. We can take them to work, and we have a loaner car. We do everything we can to make it as easy on the customer as possible. It’s not always easy; sometimes, you’ve got to bend a little one way to get back to where you need to be the other way.”

“We stand behind our work, and nobody leaves here unhappy. We just tell them, ‘If you like the work, we’d appreciate you writing a review. If you’re not happy, please let us know, and we’ll make it right.’ A lot of people are just so happy because they’ve had such bad luck at other places, and we’re a family business. My wife is here a couple of days a week; my son is here a couple of days a week, and I’m here full-time. We have no outside employees, and I just think it’s the way we handle customers.”
