We were excited to learn all about 180 Barbershop and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Co-Owner (with Jason Carrillo), Thomas Mitchell.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes 180 Barbershop stand apart from its competitors. Thomas told us that they have an all-star team, so it doesn’t matter which chair you sit in, you will still get exceptional service. Their space is clean, efficient, and professional. He told us that their business name refers to the turnaround experience, from coming in, then being seen and feeling better to finally, walking out of the shop with your chin up and a rush of confidence.
Building Success And Giving Back
180 Barbershop has earned a wonderful reputation, and Thomas said that a lot of their focus has been on building a large, loyal client base. When we asked what they have done to market and grow their company, he said that word of mouth has been huge for them. They also have a presence on social media.
180 Barbershop has also been recognized in their community, where they are always looking for ways to give back. Thomas said:
“We offer free cuts in the community for the homeless, as well as back to school cuts for kids. If there’s any chance to volunteer to help those less fortunate, we try to take it.”
