We were excited to learn all about Big City Styles and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with Sondra Wilkerson, who co-owns the company with her husband, Julius.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Big City Styles stand apart from its competitors. Sondra said:
“Our standard is what separates us. We have a ‘comfort concept’ in our shop. This means providing a comfortable atmosphere for all guests. We ask our clients to be considerate of others. We prefer they don’t use foul language. We don’t have an official dress code, but we ask visitors not to do things like sag their pants and discourage them from being disrespectful in the shop.”
Building Success And Giving Back
Big City Styles has earned a fantastic reputation, so we asked Sondra how they have managed to grow their business and get such great online reviews. She told us about how they focus on providing excellent service, and the reviews naturally follow. Sondra said:
“We don’t have anything in place to encourage people to leave reviews. We just provide the best service we can. We try to focus on quality over quantity.”
