Not Your Average Barber Shops
We were excited to learn all about how Crazy Fox Master Barber has been able to build such a terrific reputation, so we sat down with the Crazy Fox himself.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Crazy Fox Master Barber stand apart from their competitors. In Crazy Fox’s words, “We do not rush here, sometimes a haircut takes an hour. We are not a reservation or appointment shop. A lot of people refer to my business as coming into our house or a museum. The chair I use is a 1910 barber chair, I also have an 1895 barber chair that is wooden. We play old school music like jazz and boogie-woogie. I will be 82 in another month or so. We have an Indian Art Gallery in the shop, which is very unique.”
When asked about his business’ mission, Crazy Fox said, “My style of hair cutting is very unique, I have worked with many different barbers in the past that had all different styles. I am talented in what I do and we even offer straight razor shaves.”
Building Success
Of course, we couldn’t let Crazy Fox go without finding out his secret to success. “I studied under some very talented people earlier in my career, had good lessons from some other old school barbers,” he told us.

“Get to know your people, your personality in this business depends on who you are also. If you like somebody, then you go back. I’ve got a great relationship with a lot of people. I made them simply by listening to them and talking to them. The first thing I do with a customer walking in is greet them and learn their name.”
