We wanted to learn a little more about Jack Knife Barbershop and their outstanding online reputation, so we took a few minutes to talk with the owner, Dylan Abbott.
The first question we had for Dylan was what is it that sets Jack Knife Barbershop apart from their competition in Arkansas. Dylan told us that he moved from California and brought the California vibe with him:
“In Arkansas, we are very rare in our store. Our store is decorated like nothing down here, and every day, we try to have a different genre of music going; we try to keep things fun.”
Dylan went on to tell us that he recently welcomed four new guys onto his team and that, as a new barbershop, it’s not always easy to find someone to take a chance on them. But through it all, their goal is to help their clients get cleaned up.
Building Success by Treating Customers Like Family
Dylan attributes Jack Knife Barbershop’s strong online reputation to their commitment to treating their customers like it’s their first time in the shop every time, which to them, means treating customers like family.
