We were excited to learn all about how Mickey’s Barber Shop has been able to build such an impressive reputation, so we sat down with the owner, Mickey Miller.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Mickey’s Barber Shop stand apart from their local competitors. Mickey spoke with both passion and modesty, and was excited to tell us about his business. He shared that the look and feel of his shop is an important part of this shop. He wants his customers to be comfortable and to have fun. Mickey said:
“I try to make my shop a man-cave. I try to make it a fun atmosphere. A lot of guys come in here to hang out.”
We wanted to know more about this barber shop’s business mission, so we asked Mickey how he works to help make the world a better place. He said:
“I just want to make everyone happy.”
When asked what his secret was to such a strong reputation, Mickey said:
“I have been cutting hair for a long time. I work hard and I am a people person. I was born and raised here.”
