We were excited to learn all about Lisa Marie’s Catering and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Co-Owners, Lisa and Mark Rollans.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Lisa Marie’s Catering stand apart from its competitors. Lisa told us about the personal care they take in every job they do:
“Our number-one difference is a personal touch. Mark and I are involved in every single event that we cater for. One of us is on each job and will personally make sure that the client is taken care of. We try to preview each location, so we can alleviate any last-minute emergencies that could be avoided, and we try to meet each customer face to face.”
Lisa and Mark also share their business’ mission statement with us, saying:
“[Our mission is] to make every host of every event we do to look like a star.”
They continued to tell us a bit more about why they do what they do, and about their hopes for the future:
“We have had great mentors that showed us how to build a company with a lot of integrity. We are trying to produce something [with the intention of] longevity. We want to be able to hand it over to our kids by building a strong foundation that will hold up for a long time.”
Building Success And Giving Back
Lisa Marie’s Catering has gotten their name out and grown their business by keeping in touch with their community on social media sites, like Facebook, but they have also found that keeping in touch with their community in person has a special place in their heart. They love being a part of downtown Henderson and giving back to the community whenever they can. Lisa and Mark said:
“We are in downtown Henderson, which has had a seedy reputation in the past, but now it’s going through a Renaissance, and we are happy to be a part of that community and its growth. When we have leftover food, we take it to a local food bank to donate it. We donate a lot of our services to causes, like 22 Warriors. When the federal workers were not working, we provided food for them.”
