Not Your Average Catering Company
MANE Catering was founded in 2014 by Executive Chef and Owner, Nicholas Orgo, who has been in the business for over 20 years. MANE got its name from Nicholas’ nieces and nephews, Madison, Alexander, Nicholas, and Eleni. This catering company is known for their great staff and delicious meals that taste home-cooked.
We were excited to learn all about MANE Catering and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with Event Coordinator, Kaitlyn Martin.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes MANE Catering stand apart from its competitors. Kaitlyn told us:
“We are really an all-in-one caterer, and we try to match the budget, tastes, and style of the clients. We try to be able to provide something that is customized to your exact needs. We can do floral design, event coordination, and even provide bartenders. By engaging and partnering with other talented professionals, such as florists, photographers, and musicians, we are able to tailor a complete package just for you. [The owner] has built great connections to others in the industry that are really important to us, and those relationships really allow us to provide the quality of food and service that we do.”
She told us more about why it is important for them to bring such quality to their clients:
“Clients are likely never going to spend this much money on food ever again, so we try really hard to make the food something the client really enjoys and remembers.”
Kaitlyn shared:
“With family in the name, M.A.N.E. Catering threads good times and good food into each event with the hope of making everlasting memories for everyone to enjoy!”
Building Success And Giving Back
MANE Catering has earned a fantastic reputation, so we were excited to hear about some of the ways they have grown their business and gotten their name out. Kaitlyn said that they have used social media to keep in touch with their community. They also meet new people by attending networking events, and most of their new business comes from word of mouth.
Kaitlyn also told us about the various charitable efforts the owner is involved in:
“The owner teaches a variety of adult ed cooking classes in the area and is involved in nonprofits working to end elder abuse. He is also a member of the local Chamber of Commerce.”
