More Than Your Average Childcare Facility
We were excited to catch up with Discovery Tree Academy and hear about how the last year has gone for them, so we sat down with owner, Tim Carter.
Tim started off by telling us a bit about their business and their team, as well as what makes them stand out compared to others in the industry. He shared:
“We have 12 employees; eight of them are caregivers; we have a chef and then an administrative staff. We have three unique things that make us different. First is the facility; we keep it clean, current, and fresh. Second is security; we offer state-of-the-art security, software, and communication to ensure our parents know what’s going on at the facility and with their child. Finally, third is our curriculum; we’ve spent years developing and putting it in place. It’s an all-day, every day program, which is rare in this industry.”
When it comes to their accomplishments over the last year, Tim was excited about what the recognition of Top Rated Local means for Discover Tree Academy. He said:

“We saw a need to do ‘better’ in our industry. Not ‘best,’ because that implies that you’re done growing. As we looked at this industry, I wanted to provide a program and facility that I would have confidence in if I were a parent. We work towards ‘better’ every day to ensure we give parents that feeling of confidence.”
