Not Your Average Chiropractor
We were excited to learn all about CORE Family Chiropractic and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Dr. Josi Jenson.
Dr. Jenson first started her chiropractic business almost three years ago. She had always had an interest in healthcare, even as a kid, and somewhere along the way, she found chiropractic care.
We wanted to know was what it is that makes CORE Family Chiropractic stand apart from its competitors. First of all, she told us about her ability to focus on more than just back pain:
“As a chiropractor, we are always seen as back pain specialists, but I really try to focus on the whole body, as well as on mental and emotional health.”
She also told us about how she has continued her training to be able to focus on helping moms and kids, as well as treating chronic issues:
“I’ve had a lot of training in taking care of small children, families, and pregnant moms. As a woman, I felt that I’d be able to connect with my patients really well if I learned that type of care. Over the last few years, I’ve been diving into more chronic issues that haven’t been able to be resolved with other treatment.”
She continued by telling us about her small practice and how she is able to create a warm and inviting atmosphere:
“Being a smaller office, I can customize the care I give according to what each patient is needing. I also try and create a family-like atmosphere, which is important.”

Dr. Josi told us that word of mouth and referrals are their primary source of new business, and she also told us about the importance of social media:
“Almost all of my business is from word of mouth and referrals. It’s important to educate people about what you can do for them. Social media helps patients figure out who I am and what they can come to me for.”

“I always ask for reviews because it’s important to have feedback. We want to make sure we are treating everyone great!”
