Not Your Average Dance School
We were excited to learn all about Alyce Carella Dance Centre and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Alyce Carella.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Alyce Carella Dance Centre stand apart from its competitors. Alyce said that, in the dance world, experience is incredibly important, and their teachers have a combined 100 years of teaching experience! Alyce said:
“Most of my teachers were students at one point. It’s a very family-oriented business, and we get to watch our students grow up. Everyone comes in with smiles and leaves with smiles. We aim to please and get the best out of the students.”
She said that they all do what they do out of love. They are always thinking about what new things they can do to encourage and teach their students. Their goal is to show kindness to their students and encourage them in both life and dance. Alyce said:
“We are there to encourage [our students] and help them flourish as people. There’s a lot more to it than just dance; we make them feel confidence and build people up.”
Building Success Through Hard Work
Alyce Carella Dance Centre has gained a wonderful reputation, and Alyce said that their success is mostly thanks to word of mouth. They also host dance classes that get parents involved with their kids!
