Here’s just one of their many five-star reviews:

“My daughter has been attending RPS for several years now, and it has always been an amazing experience. I feel 100-percent comfortable leaving her in their care because it’s like leaving her with family. Anyone looking to put their child in a place where they can learn to dance, be encouraged to give their best, do well in school, and strive to succeed in all parts of life, would do well to put them in RPS. Five stars!!” – N.P.

It is because of excellent reviews like this that Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts is now able to call themselves a Top Rated Local award winner!

Not Your Average Dance School

We were excited to learn all about Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Anekia Boatwright McGhee.

The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts stand apart from their competitors. They are about more than dancing; they also focus on character-building for each child. They firmly believe that it takes a village to raise a child, so they put plenty of effort into offering great customer service to all of the parents as well as the children.

We asked Anekia to tell us more about the business mission at Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts. She said:

“The school wants to make the world a better place one child at a time, one parent at a time. We do that by focusing on the children we have now and really trying to change the children that we encounter one day at a time. So with all the children that we encounter, we really try to make a difference and make every moment count, and that is our mission through the whole entire youth experience.”

In order to work towards this mission, they offer summer camps and a variety of dance programs to engage their students and the families that make up their community.

Building Success By Telling Their Story

Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts has managed to build an incredible reputation, so we were excited to hear more about how they have marketed and gotten their name out. Anekia told us that they do a lot with social media, because social media platforms allow them to tell their story and connect with their community. They have a significant following on Facebook, and they also utilize Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. Anekia said:

“Our main focus is engaging and telling our story because people want to know what makes you different, and people want to know when they’re sending their child to us that it is a safe space to learn, a safe space to dance, and a place where children are loved.”

There are many businesses out there that are looking to build as impressive a reputation as Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts has managed to. We asked if Anekia could share any expert advice with these companies. Here’s what she had to say:

“People want relationships. People want to know that they matter. If you build that, you will have more than enough people recognize your work, because that’s what it’s all about.”

Congratulations to Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts for being a 2019 Top Rated Local award winner, and special thanks to Anekia for taking the time to speak with us!
