We wanted to learn all about Rhodes Dance Academy and its impressive online reputation, so we took a few minutes to talk with the owner, Cassie Rhodes.
The first question we had for Cassie was what is it that sets Rhodes Dance Academy apart from their competition in Arkansas. Here’s Cassie’s response:
“We are a more personal-based studio. We don’t think of the kids or parents as a dollar sign. It’s really a business of love not money. We try to keep everything as affordable as we possibly can, and we’re really good about working with people. We give several scholarships throughout the season for those students who can’t afford to dance. We try to keep everything at a more personal level, so we know all of our parents’ names. We know all of our students. We know what their strengths are, and we know what their dogs’ names are. We offer fantastic classes, and we are one of the most advanced in our area…”
We also wanted to know what their mission is at Rhodes Dance Academy and how they work to make the world a better place. Here’s what Cassie had to say:
“We really strive to teach through dance all of the positives and negatives of the world and how to handle them. It’s not just a hobby, in our opinion. We try to teach
that all the life lessons you need as an adult you can gain through an extracurricular activity, whether it be team or recreational, because you have to work hard, and you have to be organized and prioritize. We also go into the details, such as kindness and sportsmanship. I think qualities like that will take them further when they are outside of school and older.”
