Not Your Average Dance Studio
We wanted to learn all about Sapphire-Studio and its impressive online reputation, so we took a few minutes to talk with the owner, April Straughn.
The first question we had for April was what sets Sapphire-Studio apart from their competition in North Carolina. Here’s her response:
“I would say that I am big on a family atmosphere. I actually grew up doing clogging teams, but not the traditional/standard dance studio. It has helped me to create an atmosphere that is welcoming and family-oriented!”
April went on to add:
“I have been a studio for five years now. There is not a day that I do not enjoy going into work! My younger brother died in 2012. His birthstone was a Sapphire, so that is how I named this studio. We give out an award each year in honor of him.”
