We were excited to catch up with Recruiting Connection and hear about how the last year has gone for them, so we sat down with the founder and CEO, Marilyn Beck.
Marilyn started off by telling us a bit about their business and their team, as well as what makes them stand out compared to others in the industry. Marilyn has been in recruitment for over 20 years, which has allowed her to make personal relationships with top companies and develop a vast network. Marilyn said:

Making It As A Small Business
It takes a lot of courage and even more hard work to make it as a small business in today’s world. We asked Marilyn what has been the most rewarding part of being a small business like Recruiting Connection. She said:

Marilyn also told us about the biggest lessons they have learned so far as a business. She said:
“We have learned as a business that true success comes from serving and helping connect great businesses with great people. We truly believe in the power of people and the positive impact they can have in both business and the world. The biggest challenge we have faced was the recession of 2009. When many other recruiting firms could not stay afloat, our network of loyal clients, coupled with our experience, helped us not only get through the recession but also made us stronger and better prepared for the next go-around.”
