Not Your Average Event Planner
We were excited to learn all about Weddings By Gail and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Gail Rocquemore. Gail told us a bit about herself, saying that she started her business in 2006, has been married for over 30 years to a wonderful guy, and that they have two fur-babies!
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Weddings By Gail stand apart from its competitors. Gail told us that it all starts with exceptional customer service. She said:
“It’s cliche, but truly it’s the customer service experience that sets us apart. I build very strong client relationships. I build trust with my couples and their families. On your wedding day, you don’t want to worry, because you know someone’s got your back.”
She went on to tell us about her qualifications, which means she has a professional level of excellence she is able to provide her clients. Gail told us:
“I am a certified Wedding and Event Designer, and a certified Wedding Planner. I am also a full-service decor rental company, as well as an event planner. That is unique to a lot of planners.
When we asked Gail about her overall business mission, she said:
“Trust, respect, and integrity are the key components of my business. My mission is to create an experience for my clients and their guests. I create a day of happiness, building it one day at a time. I once heard a wedding day summarized as a one-act play that you put up and take down in one day. There’s a director (planner), crew (vendors), cast (wedding party), and the starring roles (the bride and groom). I find that very exciting! Having a passion for what I do is what fuels me!”
