Every one of the 17 trainers has experience and actually cares about the people they train. They all go out of their way to get to know every individual who walks through the door, what their goals are and what they can do to help them grow.

With 17 trainers, there’s a lot of opportunity for quality loss, but the fact that every single one does everything in their power to deliver the best possible service to every client speaks to the quality and dedication of the gym.

Brad Barber, the owner of Dialed In Fitness, started his career in the industry at 24-Hour Fitness when he was 18 years old. From that point on, he knew he had a passion for helping people. When he was 21, he became a master trainer as a result of doing more than 10,000 hours of personal training and holding five national certifications. He decided to venture out on his own as an independent owner, and when an opportunity became available for him to buy the gym he trained at, he jumped at the chance.

In 2010, Brad started building Dialed In Fitness from square one with the goal of providing the best environment for both students and trainers looking to expand their careers from big-box gyms. With time and hard work, Brad was able to expand Dialed In Fitness from a 3,500 sq. ft. space to an 8,400 sq. ft. space, to 17 trainers and to a membership pool that has consistently grown.

Building Success Through Word of Mouth and Organic Growth

Brad credits his company’s strong online reputation to his commitment to following up with each of his clients. The team at Dialed In Fitness deliberately asks their clients to share their experience with their friends and family, and with people on Google and Facebook.

The main source of growth for Dialed In Fitness has been the organic growth they’ve seen from their customers spreading the word about them. However, they’ve also offered discounts on Groupon and utilized SEO and social media marketing on Facebook and Instagram.

We asked Brad what advice he has for other business owners looking to grow their business and build their online reputation. Here are his words of wisdom:

“Treat every client/every customer like it is your first customer. Pay attention to everything, including the details, and make sure everyone on your team is willing to give it their all. There is a lot of competition out there, so understand your audience and that you are in the business of making and keeping your customers happy.”
