Total Health Guidance has managed to build the kind of reputation any business owner would envy, and to learn a little more about that reputation and this one-of-a-kind business, we sat down with Office Manager and Licensed Massage Therapist Tony Ambush.

“With most massage therapists, the primary focus is on the body, and they just work on massage. I work with a team of people, so anybody that comes to my office, I’m checking on their emotional, their relational, their physical and their financial well-being. I really look at the whole person entirely and then address whatever massage needs they may have, but I am also able to refer them out or do other things in the office that they may need.”

Tony went on to say:
“It’s not always ‘my knee hurts,’ ‘my back hurts.’ What are the other things in our lives that are affecting us or causing the pain? Some of it may be psychosomatic as well; it’s not always physical.”

“Respond to anything online — the good and the bad… Be aware of social media and what it can do, positively and negatively, and engage with the community. And if not, you’re still benefiting by educating the community at large.”
