Brandon Holtzman, owner, took a moment to chat with us about his business’ fantastic online reputation and give us some inside info regarding his approach to business. Here’s what he had to say:
What is your secret to such a strong online reputation?
We are a family owned business and we work hard to make sure the entire business operates as a family. I always make sure I am active in day-to-day operations. Communication is key, not only with our employees but with customers as well. I want to make sure I am available if they ever have a question or concern.
What makes you different? In other words, if you had one minute to sell somebody on why they should choose you, what would you say?
We are a boutique company, which gives us complete control over the quality of work we do on any given job. We always deliver the customer what we promise.
Why do you do what you do? In other words, what is your mission and/or how do you attempt to make the world a better place?
I’m very passionate about this line of work. I love getting to see different homes and meet different people across the area! Each job can bring something different — a unique challenge. It’s very rewarding to makeover someone’s home and see the reactions after the finished product!
Outside of building a strong online reputation, what else do you do to market and grow your business?
For us, community involvement is number one. From charity partnerships to media appearances, we’re heavily involved in our community. Beyond that, we focus on internet marketing.
What advice do you have for other businesses trying to build a strong online reputation and grow their business?
Be involved and don’t just let someone else run your business. Be available to both customers and employees. Know what’s going on in your day-to-day operations and make sure that you have an impact. Ultimately, as a business owner, you have the greatest impact on how your business performs — so make sure that it’s a positive one.
