Here’s just one of their many five-star reviews:

“I was referred by a friend and was impressed by the reviews and the quality of the products. I compared them with a few other companies and was not pressured or pushed… The installers were informative and customer-service oriented. They did a great job, and I am happy with the process and the finished product. I will look forward to working with them again. Thanks!” – D.L.

It is because of excellent reviews like this that Home Town Restyling is now able to call themselves a Top Rated Local award winner!

Not Your Average Home Contracting Company

We were excited to learn all about Home Town Restyling and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Marketing Manager, Dave Wilslef.

The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Home Town Restyling stand apart from its competitors. Dave told us all about the quality of their products, services, and employees. They also do everything they can to offer some ease to their customers. Dave said:

“We carry a higher-quality product than other companies in our area. We also use experienced and trained employee labor to install our products. We have an in-house service department, so if any issues arise, you call us, and we will take care of the issue. You don’t have to call the manufacturer, and you don’t have to call whoever installed the product for you. We are a one-stop shop.”

We were also curious about what this business does to help make the world a better place. Dave told us:

“We attempt to make the world a better place by offering a stress-free buying experience. We also donate money and time to our community. Last I knew, remodeling companies had the worst reputation, besides used car salesmen. We want our customers to envision their dreams and let us take the worry out of planning, permitting, building, etc.”

Building Success, Online and Off

Home Town Restyling has earned a fantastic online reputation, and Dave told us a bit more about how they have gotten where they are today:

“Our secret is trying as hard as we can to always put the customer’s experience first. One of the ways we do that is hiring a third-party company…to survey each customer after we complete their job. Their results go live, un-edited on our site and on Google for any potential customers to see.”

We asked Dave what else they have done to get their name out there and grow their business. He told us that after they do a job they walk around the neighborhood to ask neighbors if they have any remodeling needs. A large part of their business comes from customer referrals, which is a true indication of the quality of work they provide.

There are many businesses out there that are looking to build as impressive a reputation as Home Town Restyling has managed to. We asked if Dave could share any expert advice with these companies. Here’s what he had to say:

“It all starts with treating the customer right. Set expectations, and then meet or exceed those expectations. Keep an open line of communication with your customers, and let them know that, if they are unhappy about something, they can tell you about it so you can fix it. If you leave that customer happy, they are going to come back to you again, and they are going to refer their friends to you.”

Congratulations to Home Town Restyling for being a 2019 Top Rated Local award winner, and special thanks to Dave for taking the time to speak with us!
