Top Rated Local® is pleased to announce that Optima Kitchen and Bath is a 2019 award winner for home contractors in Virginia!
If your bathroom or kitchen could use a little updating, there’s one home contractor that stands above the rest — Optima Kitchen and Bath.
Optima Kitchen and Bath has received dozens of reviews from four verified sites with an average rating of 4.51 stars, earning them a stupendous Rating Score™ of 88.11 and a 2019 Top Rated Local award for being ranked among the top 10 home contractors in all of Virginia!
Here’s just one of their many five-star reviews:
“We contacted Optima based on a friend’s recommendations, and we were not disappointed! They retiled the shower, replaced the vanity and replaced all the hardware. Every member of the team was a true professional, providing quality workmanship while being respectful of our home, and were really nice guys. Amin was responsive, was very helpful with design suggestions and managed the project very efficiently. The whole work was finished in a week — exactly as promised, and we are very pleased with the result. We would definitely contract with Optima again.” – Stephanie B
Not Your Average Home Contractor
Optima Kitchen and Bath is a small company that provides quality services and takes pride in their work. Because they are a small business, clients get the added advantage of working with the owner directly. They don’t start a project until all of the materials are in, and when they give a time estimate, they meet it. The goal at Optima Kitchen and Bath is to never leave a project halfway done and to always deliver on what they promised, when they promised it.
The team at Optima Kitchen and Bath are very detail-oriented, and they focus on each project individually. Because of this, they only take on three to four projects at a time. At Optima Kitchen and Bath, their focus is on quality, not quantity.
In fact, Optima Kitchen and Bath is so focused on quality that Amin Hussein, the owner of Optima Kitchen and Bath, personally supervises each project and stays in communication with clients on a day-to-day basis.
Optima Kitchen and Bath is licensed in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia, and they are looking to expand in the future. Right now, they mainly do residential projects, but their ultimate goal is to build new homes from start to finish and also to take on commercial projects.
Amin previously worked for a similar business when he realized that opening up his own home contracting business was the right way for him to grow. When we asked Amin why he does what he does and how he works to make the world a better place, he had this to say:
“I love creating good designs and putting things together better for the homeowner to make a space that’s beautiful and functional. Seeing my clients happy makes me happy.”
Building Success Through Listening and Attention to Detail
Amin credits Optima Kitchen and Bath’s strong online reputation to his team’s commitment to always listening to clients from the very beginning of the project all the way to the end, as well as to the attention to detail they bring to every project.
“Our customers are happy with our attention to detail and the quality of our work, so they share good reviews online.”
Apart from building a powerful online reputation, repeat customers and referrals have been the main sources of growth for Optima Kitchen and Bath. However, they also advertise on Angie’s List, Houzz and Home Advisor, and their website ranks organically on Google. They tried Adwords in the past, but didn’t continue with it because they had enough projects to keep them busy at the time. Now, they are working on updating their website and their showroom, as well as adding a new line of European and American-made cabinets, and they plan to revisit using Adwords in the future.
We asked Amin what advice he has for other business owners looking to grow their business and build their online reputation. Here are the words of wisdom he shared with us:
“Pay attention to the customers you have on hand, and limit the projects to the ones you can manage well. Don’t take on too many projects. Focus on the quality for workmanship and the overall project. Listen to homeowners/customers and what they are looking for, and fit their vision into what will actually work to achieve what they want to achieve. At the end of the day, quality is the most important piece.”
Congratulations to the team at Optima Kitchen and Bath for being a 2019 Top Rated Local award winner, and thank you so much, Amin, for taking the time to speak with us!
