We were excited to learn all about A Helping Hand Home Care and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Lori Yocum.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes A Helping Hand Home Care stand apart from their competitors. This family-owned local business is run by registered nurses, has over 80 caregivers in their service, and, after over 10 years in business, is one of the longest operating home health care companies in the area.
Lori also told us about their company mission, which she defined as:

Building Success Through Community Connections
A Helping Hand Home Care has managed to build an impressive reputation over their 10 years operating in the area, so we were excited to hear about some of the ways they have marketed and grown their business. Community and communication seem to be the foundation of their growth. Lori told us that word of mouth is huge for them, as are their local partnerships with hospices and hospitals. They also host the Alzheimer’s walk and Lori acts as president of the homecare association of Kansas.
