We were excited to learn all about Visiting Angels of Richmond and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Assistant Director, Kelley Dandaneau.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Visiting Angels of Richmond stand apart from its competitors. Kelley told us that they all truly love what they do, and their management team has very low turnover. She said that the home care industry can be very high-stress, especially when it comes to their schedules and working hours, but that their staff is incredibly committed to their job because of how passionate they are about what they do.
Kelley went on to tell us about their overall business mission, saying:
“Our mission is simple: to provide quality care. We heavily train and groom staff in order to provide the best care possible, which in turn, brings in more clients. We are in a small town where everybody knows each other. We will get calls all the time from someone who ran into one of our staff in Walmart. We enlist and train extremely passionate staff, so that we’re always helping the people who come to us for help.”
