I’m not looking for a ton of new customers, which we get every day. I’m looking to build friendships and keep the customers I already have. Word of mouth is very important, as is Facebook and Google. We also enjoy attending and vending at the events that are happening in our local community. This gives us a chance to meet customers face-to-face and answer questions they might have about our services and products. It’s a lot of fun and gets our name out there.”
It’s clear that Tina knows a thing or two about growing a business and building an online reputation. Here’s her expert advice for the many other business owners out there:
“Starting a business is tough. Say goodbye to vacations, sick days and time to yourself. Have a good attitude and a great product, and customers will follow. Stick with it, and eventually, it pays off in the end. Your business becomes your primary obligation, but if you love what you do, like I do, then it doesn’t really feel like work.”
