Toscano Interiors owner, Candance Toscano, took a moment to discuss her company’s stellar reputation with us. Here’s what she had to say:
What is your secret to such a strong online reputation?
My personal secret to Toscano Interiors’ strong online reputation is that I built my business around authenticity. What you see online is what you get in person. Consistency is key.
What makes you different? In other words, if you had one minute to sell somebody on why they should choose you, what would you say?
My unique background in sales, as well as my certification as a life coach, combined with my design experience and skills to really set my business apart. I ask questions and listen carefully to my clients. It’s their space, and I believe they should get exactly what they want in it.
Why do you do what you do? In other words, what is your mission and/or how do you attempt to make the world a better place?
Again, this goes back to the life coaching aspects of my experience. I work with a lot of people who are going through massive life transitions — some joyful and some difficult. Helping them create a space that really reflects their taste and personality can ease the transition.
Outside of building a strong online reputation, what else do you do to market and grow your business?
Most of my business comes from referrals; my clients are awesome at spreading the word.
What advice do you have for other businesses trying to build a strong online reputation and grow their business?
Always be authentic, and be yourself. Don’t “fake it till you make it.” That will ultimately hurt you. You can only get so far faking it. Stay true to yourself and your business, and be sure to think outside the box as much as possible.
