We were excited to learn all about Larc Jewelers and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Wes Barrow.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Larc Jewelers stand apart from its competitors. Wes told us about their commitment to quality:
“We do not have a central buying office that says, ‘Here is your merchandise, sell it!’ I have purchased everything myself, knowing its quality. I have different types of stones from around the world. I know the quality is in the case, and I know I have pretty gemstones. We only work with natural stones, and not synthetics.”
We asked what the Larc Jewelers business mission is, and Wes told us:
“I took over the business about 18 years ago, and I was learning on the job. I wanted to treat people the way I would want to be treated. I wanted to deliver pretty things at a reasonable price so the customer is happy and I can grow my business.”
Building Success, Online And Off
Larc Jewelers has gained an incredible reputation over the years, so we were excited to hear about some of the ways they have gotten their name out. Wes told us that they work with The Knot and always post photos of their inventory onto their social media pages. They also collaborate with other local shops!

“You have to do something. I work on a shoestring budget, but you can’t be static. You need to be on social media, at least to some degree, and you have to invest in your business.”
