We spoke with Mike, the owner of National School of Martial Arts, to find out more about the business’ terrific online reputation.
“We have [developed] a program that is tried and true over years of operating in the industry. In fact, our high-energy instructors are almost entirely promoted from within. We very rarely hire outside because we believe consistency is key to success,” Mike said, when asked what sets National School of Martial Arts apart from other studios in the area. “Some of our instructors have been with us for a decade, and we know they will always go the extra mile for their students. Other schools tend to focus on upselling clients or stuffing their classes, but we want everybody who works for our organization to be focused on developing the student, in whatever form that may take. On top of all that, we have an incredibly strong competitive team that competes nationally.”
Building Success By Putting People Over Money
So, what’s the National School of Martial Arts’ secret to success? “Our entire business focus is making sure we have the most family-friendly environment,” Mike said. “We have been in business for years, and we have felt like the key is to never actually treat it like a business. The money and rewards will come organically if you treat your clients and students the right way first. In fact, we were surprised we even won this award because we don’t even ask anybody to leave reviews about our service!”
