Not Your Average Martial Arts Center
Joe Granieri, who teaches at Urban Revolution Martial Arts and owns the business with his wife, Julie, generously gave us a few minutes of his time to tell us about this one-of-a-kind business and its award-winning online reputation.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that sets Urban Revolution Martial Arts apart from the many other martial arts centers in North Carolina. Here’s Joe’s response:
“We’re a family-based school. The parents are able to train with their children in all of our classes, which makes it a more inclusive program for the family.”
Joe went on to add:
“We have summer camps. Our summer camps are themed and are full day camps. We’re currently running a special on our website. We have everything from Harry Potter to weapons training and stunt training! We have one camp in June, one in July and one in August. The camps are great for anyone from ages four to five and up!”

“I don’t know if there is a secret, but we’ve been told that our website is great and easy to use. Our students and families seem to be online and tech savvy. We don’t encourage or promote reviews, but we do greatly appreciate them!”
