We were excited to learn all about White Lace Bridal and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Anne Cleary.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes White Lace Bridal stand apart from its competitors. Anne told us about their younger staff and their commitment to staying on top of trends:
“A lot of why we view ourselves as the best option has a lot to do with our customer service. [Most of our] employees are the same age as most brides, so they can relate to them. I’m in my 20s, so I’m a relatively young business owner for this type of business, so I can relate to them, too. I try to stay very current, so that brides don’t have to feel like they have to hop on a plane and go to the big city to get a trend-forward gown.”
Building Success And Giving Back
White Lace Bridal has earned a fantastic reputation, so we wanted to hear about how they have gotten their name out and grown their business. Anne said that it’s been a combination of word of mouth and using social media pages like Facebook and Instagram.
White Lace Bridal has also seen the benefit of positive online reviews. We asked Anne what their secret was behind getting so much feedback. She said:
“We tend to ask for reviews at the end of their experience. It’s one of the things my staff is trained to do. Our industry is more prone to reviews in general, since brides are more involved in the process, they are more likely to leave a review, because of how important the experience is.”
Anne also told us about her involvement in the community. She sits on the board of an association downtown. She also runs a shopping community page on social media that supports and promotes local businesses. She is committed to making donations to local fundraisers, and provides suits and tuxes for local homecoming courts.
