We were excited to learn all about Wheeler On The Bay Lodge and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Martha Taylor.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Wheeler On The Bay Lodge stand apart from its competitors. Martha told us that they are one of the last 1950s-style auto courts. This charming boutique hotel boasts spectacular views of the Oregon coast. They have their own dock, complete with a kayak, fishing boats, and picturesque local wildlife, like visiting blue herons and otters. They work hard to make sure their visitors have a peaceful and beautiful space where they can create memories. For cozy nights in, they even offer a video library that has over 1,000 movies!
Building Success And Giving Back
Wheeler On The Bay Lodge has earned a fantastic reputation, and they will soon be sharing their success with local artists. They are establishing a residency program where artists, writers, and musicians can apply to have a reduced rate so they can stay there and produce art!
