Not Your Average Photographer
We were excited to learn all about Curb Appeal Photography and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Matt Harrison.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Curb Appeal Photography stand apart from their competitors. Matt told us that it is a combination of the quality of their photos as well as the service the customers receive from them.
We wanted to know about the business mission at Curb Appeal Photography. Matt told us:
“When I created the company, I created the logo, and I said we need a tag-line. I created ‘Real Estate Photography that Gets People Moving.’ What that really means to me is, as people are online more and more and more these days, this is the first place they will go to do research. If they stop at our pictures, and they look through them and say, ‘I really want to look at this house and do this. I can really see myself in this house.’ That’s our mission, to help people build their dreams or get in their dreams.”
Building Success By Getting Reviews
Curb Appeal Photography has managed to gain an impressive reputation, so we were excited to learn about some of the ways they have marketed and grown their company. Matt told us that he has a background in marketing, and that all the work he’s really done to promote his company is to work on their website and SEO (search engine optimization). “Get reviews! To me, that’s the most powerful marketing, and it’s free. It might take a little time to get them from customers, but in the long run, people are reading reviews and making their buying decisions based on the reviews. If you think about it, I buy basically everything on Amazon, but I always read the reviews. My determination if I buy a product is based on the reviews!”
