Not Your Average Photographer
We were excited to learn all about De La Teja Studio and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with Heidi, who co-owns the company with her husband, Gerry.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes De La Teja Studio stand apart from their competitors. Great customer service and follow-through is key, and Heidi says that hard work and perseverance are their secret to success. Many of the reviews speak to the level of comfort clients had working with Heidi and Gerry, and how much they knew about what kinds of photos to capture. Heidi said of their photography:
“We capture the in-between moments that no one notices during busy events. Most people take straight-forward pictures, but we specialize in the in-between moments that nobody realizes are even happening.”
Building Success Through Hard Work and Commitment
De La Teja Studio has such an incredible reputation, so we asked Heidi about some of the ways they have marketed and grown their company. She told us that she originally went to college for marketing, so marketing is incorporated into everything they do. She works to always make connections with the clients and to keep up with trends that are happening around the world. She told us that they have someone who does a great job with their website and social media, and that she also makes sure to attend wedding shows where she can meet potential clients face-to-face.
