Not Your Average Photographers
We were excited to learn all about Elwood Photography and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Matt Elwood.
Matt photographed his first wedding in 2004, when he started Elwood Photography, and has gained over 15 years of experience capturing people’s most memorable moments. Matt has done many shoots outside of Nebraska, including destination weddings. He told us that he is willing to travel wherever the camera takes him.
We wanted to know was what it is that makes Elwood Photography stand apart from its competitors. Matt told us that the production value he puts into every photograph helps him to stand out from the rest. He told us that he uses unique light sources and uses different styles of lenses to really make his pictures pop.
Building Success By Giving the Clients What They Want
We wanted to know what Elwood Photography has done to get their name out there and grow their business. Matt said that he has started to utilize social media and has been posting his work for people to see.
We asked Matt what his secret is to earning such a strong reputation. He said:
“It’s as simple as giving the clients what they want and treating them as I would want to be treated as a client. I see it as documentation of a special day and being able to do it in a creative way.”
