Chris Wood, the owner and photographer at Wood Robert Photography, has 20 years of full-time experience as a photographer, and Wood Robert Photography has been around for 50 years. Here’s what Chris has to say on the matter:
“You can’t be in business for 50 years if you aren’t doing things right and taking care of your customers.”
We asked Chris why he does what he does. Here is his response:
“I love photography. It has always been in my family, and I had a chance to carry on my father’s work. My father has taken photos of parents and grandparents, and I have taken photos of their children and grandchildren — together, we’ve had the privilege of photographing whole generations of families!”
Building Success Through Quality Service and Community Involvement
Chris credits his company’s strong online reputation to the quality service he provides, as well as to the fact that he sends review links to his clients and asks for reviews. However, many of his clients leave reviews on their own.
Having good, consistent reviews has been a huge part of the growth at Wood Robert Photography; however, Chris has also gotten his company’s name out there by being involved in his community. Wood Robert Photography is involved with community fundraisers, and Chris is on the community council in town.

“Google changes things so often that maintaining a strong online reputation is very difficult to do yourself. It’s best to let someone who knows how to navigate those water do it for you.”
